Group Therapy with Nicolle Rosario

Nicolle Rosario is currently welcoming new patients to join her therapy groups, where participants gain practical tools for managing emotions, building insight, and creating meaningful change in a supportive, professional environment.

DBT Skills Group

Tuesdays 7:00-8:00 PM and

Thursdays 6:00-7:00 PM

A weekly, skills-based group focused on the four core modules of Dialectical Behavior Therapy. This group is structured, interactive, and designed to complement your outside therapy or enhance your current mental health journey by offering hands-on strategies for developing a deeper sense of your authentic self, managing emotions, redirecting thought patterns, and improving relationships.

DBT Graduate Group

Wednesdays 8:30–9:30 PM

An ongoing group for clients who have completed a DBT Skills Group and wish to continue refining their skills in real time. This group focuses on long-term application, accountability, and navigating life’s ongoing challenges with the support of a like-minded community.

Trauma-Informed Group

Mondays 7:00–8:00 PM

This group is for those looking to explore the lasting effects of trauma in a supportive, guided format. Group conversations are grounded in weekly readings from The Body Keeps the Score by Dr. Bessel van der Kolk. Participants are encouraged to purchase or borrow the book from a local library, as its themes will provide a foundation for insight and reflection. The group explores how trauma shapes emotions, relationships, and self-understanding, while creating space for healing and growth.

Please note: These groups are not part of a comprehensive treatment program and do not include weekly individual therapy. All participants receive one monthly individual check-in, in addition to the weekly group. These groups work especially well as a supplement to your current individual therapy or to support your overall mental health journey.

What Past Participants Say:

“The DBT skills I learned through this group offered new ways for me to effectively communicate my emotions, as opposed to previously reacting in anger before starting DBT. The group helped me STOP (Stop, Take a step back, Observe, Proceed mindfully) and reevaluate how to address the issues I face in a more productive and healthy manner.”
