Brittany Ioannidis, APCC
Education and Credentials:
Brittany Ioannidis, APCC, earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She has received specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and continues to deepen her work through ongoing education in trauma, attachment, somatic healing, and Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed approaches.
Experience:
Brittany’s clinical experience includes working in community mental health, crisis intervention, and private practice settings, supporting individuals through some of life’s most difficult and transformative moments. Throughout her career, she has worked with clients experiencing anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, grief, identity exploration, and major life transitions.
Therapeutic Approach:
At the heart of Brittany’s work is the belief that healing happens in relationships—both the relationship we have with ourselves and the relationships we have with others.
Many of the clients Brittany works with are insightful, self-aware, and tired of simply “getting through” life. They may find themselves stuck in familiar patterns, carrying the weight of past experiences, struggling with anxiety, or feeling disconnected from themselves despite doing everything they can to move forward.
Brittany takes a warm, collaborative, and relational approach to therapy. Drawing from EMDR, somatic practices, attachment theory, and IFS-informed interventions, she helps clients understand the stories their minds and bodies have been carrying while creating space for new experiences of safety, connection, and self-trust.
Rather than focusing solely on symptom reduction, Brittany believes therapy can be a place to explore the deeper roots of emotional pain, strengthen self-compassion, and reconnect with the parts of ourselves that have been overlooked, protected, or misunderstood.
She strives to create a space where clients feel genuinely seen, supported, and empowered as they move toward healing and lasting change.
Outside of Therapy:
Outside of the therapy room, Brittany enjoys spending time with loved ones, exploring new places, and finding joy in life’s simple moments. She is passionate about personal growth and believes that healing often begins with curiosity, courage, and the willingness to show up as our authentic selves.
