Cambria Witten is a trauma-informed therapist who specializes in working with high-acuity and complex trauma presentations. She provides individual, group, and family therapy and offers a grounded, relational, and person-centered approach for clients who may feel overwhelmed, unsafe, or disconnected due to trauma. Cambria prioritizes creating a therapeutic space rooted in emotional safety, consistency, and respect, particularly for clients who have had prior negative or harmful experiences with systems of care.

Cambria has extensive experience supporting individuals living with complex PTSD (C-PTSD), sexual trauma, chronic suicidality, self-harm, emotional dysregulation, and trauma related to domestic violence, incarceration, and systemic oppression. She works closely with clients who are navigating intense emotional pain, survival-based coping strategies, and histories of instability, helping them build safety, regulation, and trust at a pace that feels manageable and empowering.

Education and Professional Experience:
Cambria earned her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy, graduating magna cum laude. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from a trilingual university in Italy. As part of her personal and professional journey, Cambria lived in Europe and attended university in Italy, experiences that continue to inform her culturally attuned and globally informed clinical perspective.
Cambria speaks fluent German (C1 level) and Italian (B1 level) and is happy to work with clients who are seeking a therapist who understands European culture, multilingual environments, and the nuances of navigating identity, language, and background across cultures.
Her clinical background includes work in higher levels of care, including Residential Treatment Centers (RTC), Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP). She has also worked with children and families involved in foster care and adoption, as well as individuals impacted by domestic violence.
Outside of Therapy:
Cambria believes healing is possible even after profound trauma. Outside of therapy, she values building strong community connections with friends, family, and her pets, and finds grounding through fitness, including weightlifting, running, and boxing.
